MY POEMS TRANSLATED INTO SPANISH

NO. YO NO...

la montaña deprimida
de sol con sus honduras vanas
morirán desconocidas?
abandonadas enraizadas
en la arena
y el viento despidiendo
fétidos olores?
yo no deseo ver
El sol podrá perderse de mi luz
y acusar la noche por trazar
mi suerte con tormentosos dedos
lambiendo las patas de un espantapájaros
Pueden ellos cerrar sus ojos
A las imágenes que abrevo
Y enterrar mis secretos
En espejos empolvados
Y de Dios los errores escondidos...

-----

SUPERVIVENCIA

Me di cuenta
Muy después de haber pasado-
Dios no me respondió,
Mis oraciones se volvieron mecánicas
Como sexo
Eyaculación sin orgasmo
Y sueño apilado

La picazón prevalece,
Las etiquetas en la mente
No responden
Memoria ausente
Fe confundida
El olvido
Más que recordar
En momentos de lapsos
Dios también dormita
-----
Es demasiado
Estar en un cuartel
Sin nadie con quien hablar
Entre ruidos espaciales
Día--- y noche
Recuerdo mi estado
Un extraño
En casa bebiendo vino
Y cerveza...
cuando sea libre,
por cambiar,
Él descargará su carga
compartirá el plan de su retiro
olvidará que soy más viejo
que necesito de cuidado
cada año que pasa.
Pero... Y ¿a quién le importa?

MICROPOEMAS

i

Apurando una luz roja
no es la excepción
sea tráfico o sexo
la esencia es el movimiento,
y el tiempo importa.
ii
El oleaje
barre la orilla que toca
barre mis desnudas huellas
deja atrás algunas caracolas,
guijarros de memorias
iii
El espíritu del amor desciende
y se amalgama entre su cuerpo
dándole nueva vida:
Me asombra cómo
lo desconocido
se vuelve uno con su belleza.
 iv
Las lágrimas se secan
no dejan huellas
donde su dolor comienza
y el mío empieza...
en el rostro huellas húmedas
con sudor doliente
y suspiros fríos

POEMS: RAM KRISHNA SINGH, India
1
NO, I WON'T

Depressed mount of sun
and feeble supporting lines
will I die unknown?
left rotting in the sand
and the wind oozing foul smell?
I don't want the sun
to miss my light and blame
the night for writing
the fate with wintry fingers
licking the legs of scarecrow
they can't close their eyes
to the images I brew
for burying secrets
against a dusty mirror
against God's hidden errors

2
SURVIVAL

The trees are taller than my height
the lips osculate in their shade
I enjoy the wind that shakes them
or undresses my sleepless nights
wrapped in shawl without mirrors of stars:
I survive the missing moon's light

3
GOD TOO DOZES

It was too late
I realized
long after his passing
I still prayed for my father
God didn't answer
my prayers had become mechanical
like sex
ejaculation without orgasm
and pilled sleep.
The itch prevails.
The tags in the mind
don't respond:
absent memories
confused faith
forgetting
faster than remembering
in moments of lapses
God too dozes

4
WHO CARES?

It's too much to pass
time in a military station
no company and
no one to talk to
amid noises in the sky
day in and day out
remind my status:
an outsider in son's home
drinking beer or wine
for a change when free
he would unburden the load
share retirement plans
forgetting I've grown
older each passing year
need care, but who cares?

5
TIDAL SWELL

My veins are no ocean
you can't such even if
you bury your teeth in my sand
or probe with your tongue
the midnight shadow in bed
now exhausted from your tidal swell

6
FIVE MICROPOEMS
i
hurrying at red light
is no exception
be it traffic or sex
movement is the essence
and time matters
ii
raising
her hard drink
heavenward:
to my man, lover of
animals, soft in sex
iii
a tidal wave
touches the shore to wipe
my naked footprints
and leaves behind some shells
pebbles memories
iv
love's spirit descends
and melds into her body
lending it new life:
I'm amazed how the unknown
becomes one with her beauty
v
tears dry up
leaving no marks where her pain
ends and mine begins
on the face make up damps
with aching sweat and cold sighs
