وقد جاء في غلاف الكتاب تعريف مبسط بالكاتب:

شاعر هندي إنجليزي ذائع الصيت في العالم. كان عبقريًا مبدعًا للعديد من الفعاليات، وقد نشر 26 مجموعة شعرية رصينة وناضجة ومنضبطة ومنتعشة على الدوام. الشاعر يتمتع بحساسية شعرية عالية وهو ودقيق وواعي اجتماعيًا وموجه روحانيًا ويتجذر في مواضيعه بالطبيعة الداخلية والخارجية للإنسان، تمامًا كما أن قصائده بارزة من حيث الدقة والاقتصاد والبنية المفعمة بالذكريات والموحية ، ولا ترهق القارئ. ونقلاً عن أحد المراجعين ، "إنه قائل حقيقة خطير ، يتمتع بحنان واقعي وأمانة إنسانية." تُظهر قصائده الدقيقة قوة الكلمات الواضحة في الارتقاء بالخبرات اليومية إلى مستوى الشعر.

يذكر بان بعض هذه القصائد قد ترجمت للعربية ونشرت في دواوين الكترونية بنادي الهايكو العربي بواسطة الأستاذ محمود الرجبي المحترم وقد أجريت بعض القراءات حول قسم منها.

The book cover came a simplified definition of the writer:

World famous English indian poet. He was a creative genius for many events, and he published 26 collections of sober, mature, disciplined and always fresh poetry. The poet has a high poetic sensitivity and is accurate, socially conscious and spiritually oriented and is rooted in his subjects in the inner and outer nature of man, just as his poems are noteworthy in terms of accuracy, economy, structure filled with memories and inspiration, and does not tire the reader out. To quote one reviewer, “He is a dangerous truth teller, with realistic compassion and humanitarian integrity. "His delicate poems demonstrate the power of clear words in uplifting everyday experiences to poetic level."

It is noted that some of these poems have been translated into Arabic and published in the electronic websites of the Arab Haiku Club by the respected Mr. محمود الرجبي and I have done some readings about a section of them.
